On March 31, 2026, Mr. Xiao Shunan, Executive Vice President of the New Zealand China Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification, visited Xuchang Intelligent, accompanied by Mr. Xie Yingbo, Director of the Economic Liaison Department of the Henan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, Mr. Zhao Hongwei, Chairman of the Xuchang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Mr. Huang Xiaoyu, Secretary-General of the Xuchang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. The visit focused on aligning cooperation models for the New Zealand market around PV plus commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage, and discussed the implementation of comprehensive solutions for self-consumption PV generation with off-grid storage.

During the new energy solutions session, the International Trade and Engineering teams presented a comprehensive “self-consumption PV + off-grid storage” application framework, covering pre-assessment of load and irradiance, system design, key equipment selection (inverters, battery systems, EMS), on-site commissioning, and remote O&M services. The delegation expressed a clear intention to cooperate on “turnkey solution design + equipment procurement + technical guidance,” and held in-depth discussions on energy cost optimization for New Zealand’s C&I users, reliability and redundancy design, and strategies for grid/off-grid mode switching across different regions.
