On July 17, 2023 (UTC + 8), SANY Group was honored as the "Seashell Finance A-Share Private Listed Company ESG Pioneer". The list was revealed in the "Seashell Finance Private ESG Pioneer Listed Companies" report at the Beijing News & Seashell Finance Summer Summit.

01The ESG Evaluation System

The Seashell Finance ESG evaluation system assesses private listed companies based on publicly available information and public opinions. It comprehensively considers top-level indicators including E (Environment), S (Social), G (Governance), and public opinion to reflect the ESG governance and risk situation of the company. The system identifies outstanding examples of private enterprises, aiming to support more private companies in strengthening ESG information disclosure and practices.

SANY Group, with outstanding performance in ESG information disclosure, ESG system construction, overall corporate strength and influence as well as social reputation, stood out from among 799 private listed companies and successfully became one of the "Seashell Finance A-Share Private Listed Company ESG Pioneer", providing experience for ESG management improvement for private enterprises.

SANY Group's 2022 Social Responsibility Report shows remarkable progress and impact in its pursuit of social responsibility.

In 2022, 25 lighthouse factories of SANY Group were completed and put into operation, with an average production capacity increase of 68%. The company accumulated 697 patents for electrification and developed 79 electric products. In addition, international sales revenue reached 36.571 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of 47.19%. Energy-saving projects saved energy costs of 57.776 million yuan with a year-on-year saving of 20.11%.
