In May of last year,CHINT Astronergy's Thailand base celebrated the rollout of its firstsolar cells and modules during the completion of Phase 2.5. This April15th, the factory reached another milestone with its first successfulsilicon wafer slicing, marking the completion of its first silicon waferproject at the Thailand base.

Withthis achievement, the Thai facility now boasts a full solarmanufacturing chain, from silicon wafer slicing to photovoltaic cellsand modules. The wafer slicing project is planned for a 5GW capacity,utilizing advanced equipment and technology to significantly enhance theefficiency and quality of CHINT Astronergy's products, making them morecompetitive in the global market.

Thesuccessful expansion in Thailand demonstrates CHINT Astronergy'scommitment to improving its overseas product supply capability, customerresponsiveness, and supply chain efficiency. The swift ramp-up ofproduction capacity at this base is expected to not only boost CHINTAstronergy's presence in the global solar industry but also stimulatelocal photovoltaic manufacturing, fostering job creation andcontributing to the local economy.
