On September 29, 2024, Silk Road Fund (SRF) held a seminar themed “Silk Road Fund 10 Years: Opportunities and Challenges” in Beijing. Mr. PAN Gongsheng, Governor of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), and Mr. ZHU Hexin, Deputy Governor of the PBOC and Administrator of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, attended and addressed the meeting. Mr. ZHOU Xiaochuan, Vice Chairman of the Boao Forum for Asia, and former Governor of the PBOC, joined the seminar and delivered luncheon speech. Mr. YI Gang, President of China Society for Finance and Banking, and former Governor of the PBOC, participated in the conference and had a keynote dialogue with SRF Chairwoman Ms. ZHU Jun.

This seminar was joined by domestic and foreign central bankers, financiers, entrepreneurs and academicians. They reviewed the track record of Silk Road Fund in the decade since its inception, and conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as the opportunities and challenges in promoting Belt and Road investment and financing cooperation, global macroeconomic and financial market developments, and trends in areas such as infrastructure and sustainability investment.
