2026年1月22日上午，沙特朱拜勒和延布皇家委员会（RCJY）主席萨勒姆阁下（His Excellency Khalid Mohammed Al‑Salem）、延布工业城皇家委员会首席执行官朱哈尼先生（Abdulhadi Abdulrahman Al-Juhani）率代表团莅临新宙邦考察交流。双方围绕新宙邦在沙特的投资布局、锂离子电池材料项目推进等核心议题深入磋商，达成多项共识。公司董事长覃九三、副董事长周达文及核心管理团队全程陪同接待并参与会谈。

萨勒姆阁下一行首先走进新宙邦展厅，全面了解了公司在电子化学品、功能材料等核心领域的技术研发实力、产品体系布局及全球市场应用成果。

随后，双方举行专项座谈会。覃九三董事长对代表团的到访表示热烈欢迎，并详细介绍了新宙邦的发展历程、核心竞争力、全球化战略布局及终端应用场景拓展情况。会谈中，双方聚焦新宙邦在沙特项目的整体规划、建设进展、资源配置及后续合作方向展开详细沟通。

沙特阿拉伯作为中东地区核心经济体，也是“一带一路”共建的重要合作伙伴，其“2030愿景”将产业多元化和绿色低碳发展列为国家战略重点。新宙邦计划投资约2.6亿美元（以实际建设情况为准），在沙特延布重工业园区建设锂离子电池材料项目。该项目是公司深化全球化战略、拓展中东及全球市场的关键举措，契合国家鼓励企业参与“一带一路”沿线产业升级、构建区域供应链的方向。项目建成后，可依托当地区位与物流优势辐射欧美及东南亚市场，降低供应链成本与交付周期，其二氧化碳资源化利用绿色工艺，亦符合沙特低碳减排政策要求。

新宙邦作为全球锂电池电解液行业的领导者之一，始终坚持植根中国、面向全球的发展战略。继波兰新宙邦于2023年顺利投产后，马来西亚电子化学品项目、波兰锂离子电池材料项目二期、中东锂离子电池材料项目及其他海外项目正在顺利推进中。未来，新宙邦将进一步完善全球布局，致力于用电子化学品和功能材料创造美好未来。

On the morning of January 22, 2026, His Excellency Khalid Mohammed Al‑Salem, President of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY), and Mr. Abdulhadi Abdulrahman Al-Juhani, CEO of the Royal Commission Yanbu Industrial City, led a delegation to visit Capchem. The two sides held in-depth consultations on Capchem’s investment layout and lithium-ion battery material project progress in Saudi Arabia, reaching several consensuses. Johnson Qin, Chairman of Capchem, Zhou Dawen, Vice Chairman, and the core management team accompanied the delegation throughout the visit and participated in the talks.

His Excellency Al-Salem and his delegation first visited Capchem’s exhibition hall, where they fully understood the company’s technological R&D capabilities, product system layout and global market application achievements in core fields such as electronic chemicals and functional materials.

Subsequently, a special forum was held between the two sides. Chairman Johnson Qin extended a warm welcome to the delegation and elaborated on Capchem’s development history, core competitiveness, global strategic layout and the expansion of end-application scenarios. During the forum, the two sides conducted detailed exchanges focusing on the overall planning, construction progress, resource allocation and subsequent cooperation direction of Capchem’s project in Saudi Arabia.

As a core economy in the Middle East and an important partner in the Belt and Road Initiative, Saudi Arabia has listed industrial diversification and green low-carbon development as national strategic priorities in its Vision 2030. Capchem plans to invest approximately 260 million US dollars (subject to actual construction) in building a lithium-ion battery materials project in Yanbu Heavy Industrial Park, Saudi Arabia. This project, a key measure for Capchem to deepen its global strategy and expand markets in the Middle East and beyond, aligns with the national direction of encouraging enterprises to participate in industrial upgrading and regional supply chain construction along the Belt and Road. Upon completion, it will leverage local geographical and logistics advantages to serve European, American and Southeast Asian markets, reducing supply chain costs and delivery cycles. Its green process of carbon dioxide resource utilization also complies with Saudi Arabia’s low-carbon emission reduction policies.

As one of the global leaders in the lithium battery electrolyte industry, Capchem has always adhered to the development strategy of being rooted in China and oriented to the world. Following the successful commissioning of Capchem Poland in 2023, the Malaysia electronic materials project, the Phase II of Poland lithium-ion battery materials project, the Middle East lithium-ion battery materials project and other overseas projects are progressing smoothly.
