Shell Brasil has applied for environmental permits for six offshore wind farms in Brazil totalling 17GW.

项目位于piaui州，Ceara州以及Rio Grande do Norte, Espirito Santo, Rio de Janeiro 和 Rio Grande do Sul各省的海滨之外。

The projects will be located off the coasts of the states of Piaui, Ceara, Rio Grande do Norte, Espirito Santo, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul.

Shell Brasil filed the Activity Characterisation Form (FCA) to the Brazilian Institute for the Environment and Natural Resources (IBAMA).

预估将在2022年底启动环境研究，等待巴西离岸风电开发规则的进一步定论。

It expects to start environmental studies later in 2022, pending further definition of the rules for offshore wind development in the country.
