Tender: Bid window 6 of the SA REIPPP programme now open

South Africa’s bid Window 6 of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Procurement Programme (REIPPPP) is now open.

The Department of Mineral Resource and Energy (DMRE) thus invites interested parties to register prospective bids by 11 August 2022 for 2,600MW of renewable energy.

Bid Submission closes: 17.00 on 11 August 2022

To access the bid window 6 Request For Proposals prospective bidders must pay a non-refundable documentation fee of R25,000 per prospective project and complete an electronic registration form. The required document fee is payable to:

Registration forms must be completed on the IPP Office website. The DMRE will only communicate with prospective bidders who have completed the electronic registration form and paid the required documentation fee.

The Department will host a bidder’s conference with prospective bidders before bid submissions close. This conference will be held on a virtual teleconference platform and the date will be published on the IPP Office website.
