11月28日，牙买加港口集团高级副总裁加里·劳伦斯先生、国际顾问莫汉·古鲁斯瓦米博士等一行到访湖北国际经合展开座谈交流，湖北国际经合董事长陈彤、执行总经理孟凡广、总会计师杜军、副总经理凌震出席座谈。

On November 28th, Mr.Gary Lawrence, Senior Vice President of the Jamaica Port Group（PoJ）, and Dr. Mohan Guruswamy, International Advisor, visited HIETC for a symposium and exchange. Chen Tong, Chairman of HIETC，Executive General Manager Meng Fanguang, Chief Financial Officer Du Jun, and Deputy General Manager Ling Zhen attended the symposium.

会上，双方分别从企业战略定位、业务布局、经营管理、未来发展等方面作简要介绍，并就大宗贸易、国际物流、境外园区建设等领域进行深入探讨。

During the meeting, both sides gave brief introductions on their respective enterprise strategic positioning, business layout, operation and management, future development, etc., and conducted in-depth discussions on how to enhance their international competitiveness and deepen bilateral economic cooperation in bulk trade, international logistics, overseas park construction and other fields.

加里·劳伦斯表示，牙买加港口集团与湖北国际经合在业务赛道上有很强互补性，湖北国际经合作为中国湖北重要对外经贸平台，拥有成熟的“四位一体”运营模式、广泛的国际国内两种资源、优质的国际品牌信誉，非常希望双方能加强沟通协作，实现互利共赢。

Mr.Gary Lawrence stated that the PoJ and HIETC had strong complementarity in their business tracks. As an important foreign economic and trade platform in China's Hubei Province, HIETC had a mature "four-in-one" operational model, extensive domestic and international resources, high-quality international brands and reputation. He expressed his strong hope that both sides could strengthen communication and collaboration to achieve mutual benefits and win-win results.

Chen Tong extended a warm welcome to Mr.Gary Lawrence and his delegation, pointing out that China and Jamaica enjoy close relations and fruitful cooperation, and the two governments have also provided a favorable policy environment for promoting economic and trade exchanges.
