近日，由中国建筑西南设计研究院有限公司（CSWADI）原创设计的利雅得双子塔项目方案“Whispers of the Dunes（沙丘灵语）”成功中标。我院在海外核心城市地标建筑设计领域取得的成功彰显出中国设计机构在国际热点市场中的综合竞争力与文化表达力。

Recently, the design proposal "Whispers of the Dunes" for the Riyadh Twin Towers project, originally created by China Southwest Architectural Design and Research Institute (CSWADI), has been successfully selected as the winning bid. This achievement marks a significant breakthrough for our institute in the field of high-end urban complexes and landmark buildings overseas, further demonstrating the comprehensive competitiveness and cultural expression capabilities of Chinese design institutions in the international core market.

项目位于利雅得北部核心发展轴线，坐落于北部环路与奥拉亚街交汇处，紧邻阿卜杜拉国王金融区（KAFD），占据连接传统城市肌理与新兴商务区的战略门户位置，是利雅得城市更新与形象升级的重要节点。

The project is situated along the northern end of the central development axis of Riyadh, at the intersection of the Northern Ring Road and Olaya Street. Adjacent to the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), it occupies a strategic threshold position connecting the traditional urban fabric with emerging business districts, serving as a crucial node in Riyadh's urban renewal and image enhancement initiatives.

项目由两栋超高层塔楼及裙楼组成，总建筑面积约 11 万平方米，涵盖高端酒店、服务式公寓、办公及体验式商业等复合功能，致力于打造面向全球商务人群与城市公众的高品质复合空间，并服务于 2030年沙特世界杯等国家级盛事背景下的城市能级跃升。

The project comprises two high-rise towers with accompanying podiums, featuring a total floor area of approximately 110,000 square meters. It integrates composite functions including a high-end hotel, serviced apartments, offices, and experiential retail. The development is dedicated to creating a high-quality, multi-functional space catering to global business travelers and the city's public, while also serving to enhance the city's overall capacity in anticipation of national-level events such as the 2030 FIFA World Cup in Saudi Arabia.

在设计理念上，方案立足全球视野，深度回应地域文脉与气候特征。双子塔以“垂直沙丘”之势向天际生长，象征城市发展的力量与精神高度；裙楼则化为“水平沙丘”，柔性铺展于城市界面之上，塑造兼具遮荫、通风与公共活力的立体城市客厅。塔楼顶部的空中生态花园，将自然引入高密度城市核心，构建面向未来的可持续生活图景。

In terms of design philosophy, the proposal adopts a global perspective while deeply responding to the local cultural context and climatic characteristics. The twin towers ascend skyward like "vertical sand dunes," symbolizing the momentum and spiritual aspiration of urban development. The podium, in contrast, unfurls as "horizontal sand dunes," softly draping over the urban interface to create a multi-dimensional civic living room that offers shade, promotes ventilation, and fosters public vitality. The sky ecological garden atop the towers introduces nature into the high-density urban core, painting a sustainable living vision for the future.

项目在形式与精神层面汲取贝都因文明与伊斯兰文化的深层意象，以圣洁的色彩、流动的曲线与富有张力的空间节奏，营造克制而庄重的建筑诗性表达。双塔相互呼应、彼此守望，象征信念、秩序与情感的共生，成为根植于利雅得土地之上的当代城市艺术地标。

The project draws inspiration from the deep imagery of Bedouin civilization and Islamic culture on both formal and spiritual levels. Through the use of sacred colors, flowing curves, and a dynamic spatial rhythm, it cultivates a restrained yet solemn architectural poetics. The twin towers echo and watch over each other, symbolizing the symbiosis of faith, order, and emotion. This creates a contemporary urban art landmark deeply rooted in the land of Riyadh.

“Whispers of the Dunes”项目成功中标是CSWADI国际化战略中的一次重要里程碑，更是中国设计持续参与全球城市发展与文化对话的有力范例。

"Whispers of the Dunes" is not merely an architectural work, but a significant achievement in CSWADI's internationalization strategy.
