伊通比亚拉水电站是巴西第六大水电站，总装机容量208.2万千瓦，作为巴西重要的能源枢纽，对保障区域电力供应、优化能源结构具有战略意义。本次变压器供货项目将有力支撑水电站设备升级改造，进一步提升其运营可靠性，为当地经济社会发展提供坚实电力支撑。

2026 Starts Strong with Another Transformer Order Win from Brazil’s AXIA Energia

Early in the new year, exciting news spreads! China Electrical Equipment International Company (CEEI) has secured another major cooperation with AXIA Energia. Following the previous contract to supply 17 UHV transformers to AXIA Energia, the two parties have successfully signed a new deal for the supply of 18 525kV transformers to the Itumbiara Hydropower Station.

As a key energy hub in Brazil, the Itumbiara Hydropower Station is the country’s sixth-largest hydropower facility,with a total installed capacity of 2.082 GW. It plays a crucial strategic role in ensuring power supply in central and southern Brazil, and promoting the transition to clean energy. This transformer supply project will support the upgrade of the hydropower station’s equipment and further enhance its energy support capacity.

This signing not only strengthens CEE’s core position in Brazil’s and Latin America’s power markets but also deepens the strategic mutual trust and cooperative consensus with AXIA Energia.
