Sinomach subsidiary secures management contract for major wind power project in Uzbekistan
Beijing Scientech International Project Management Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Sinomach, has successfully secured the management contract for the prestigious Bash-Dzhankeldy Wind Power Project in Uzbekistan.
The landmark project, with an impressive installed capacity of a gigawatt, is one of the largest wind power initiatives in Central Asia. Comprising 158 cutting-edge wind turbines, booster stations, and external overhead transmission systems, the project is poised to significantly impact the region's energy landscape.
Upon its operational commencement the Bash-Dzhankeldy Wind Power Project is anticipated to make a substantial environmental difference, with an estimated annual reduction of 1.6 million tons of carbon emissions. Furthermore, the project is set to bolster local power supply and play a pivotal role in advancing Uzbekistan's new energy development agenda.
