At present, it has become a global consensus to actively respond to climate change. CCS/CCUS is currently recognized in the world as a key way to achieve large-scale net zero emissions of fossil energy and one of the indispensable key technologies for achieving carbon neutrality. According to the agreement, the two sides will further deepen cooperation in carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) strategy, technology, policy and business model, strengthen synergy in addressing global climate change, and make positive contributions to promoting green and low-carbon development and tackling climate change.
Established in 2009, the Global CCS Institute (GCCSI) is an international low-carbon technology platform with research resources and information covering the whole chain of CCS. It is committed to promoting CCS technology to play a greater role in global carbon emission reduction through knowledge sharing, capacity building and consulting services.
