Mr. Dan Nelson and Mr. Mark Dan from Halliburton Middle East Management Visit ZPEC Shanghai
Rrecently, Mr. Dan Nelson, MENA Region Manager, and Mr. Mark Dan, EH Manager – Rig Management, visited ZPEC Shanghai Lingang Base. On the basis of good collaboration in the past, ZPEC and Halliburton reached a consensus on further deepening drilling cooperation and expanding business to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Mr. Ye Jifeng, the Senior Vice President of ZPEC Group, Mr. Fu Jiancheng, the General Manager of ZPEC Drilling Engineering Unit, and Mr. Li Jing, the General Manager of ZPEC Equipment Manufacturing Group attended the meeting.
Mr. Ye first welcomed the arrival of the guests and thanked Halliburton for the trust and help given to ZPEC over the years.
Rig performance reviews for the past years, equipment improvement, drilling team audit and inspection, spare parts and asset parts inventory, and QHSE items were discussed during the meeting. Based on the characteristics of the Iraqi market, ZPEC also presented its short-term and long-term development plans. ZPEC said it would continuously invest in PMS systems, inventory management, personnel training, and overhaul base to further enhance its comprehensive competitiveness. Mr. Mark Dan said that Halliburton would support ZPEC's development plan and actively create a better cooperation environment. He said, "The full communication between the two parties this time allows us to understand each other better and is conducive to improving the quality and efficiency of operations."
Subsequently, Mr. Yang Yaoqi, the Director of QHSE of ZPEC Group, introduced ZPEC's safety management concept, policy system, and safety culture to the guests, and exchanged opinions with the guests on improving the reporting procedures of various safety incidents. Mr. Li Jing, the General Manager of ZPEC Equipment Manufacturing Unit, introduced high-end intelligent products such as the ZMOR350 Land Automatic Off-line Drilling Rig, independently developed by ZPEC, the "Jinpeng" Intelligent Drilling Robot, and the "Danke" Five-cylinder Pump, demonstrating performance innovation and outstanding efficiency improvement advantage.
Both parties expressed awareness of the necessity of communication at all levels, and also expressed the willingness to strengthen this with the top management scheduled to meet physically twice a year, in the same time, a quarterly online meeting was agreed upon. All parties will continue to uphold the concept of win-win cooperation and carry out in-depth cooperation in more fields, in order to achieve common development and to create a better future.
After the meeting, the guests visited ZPEC's Equipment Workshop and Rig Yard, and spoke highly of the company's manufacturing strength and intelligent new products. Mr. Dan Nelson said that Halliburton and ZPEC experienced many changes in the Iraqi market, faced challenges and solved problems together, and accumulated valuable experience. He said that ZPEC is a trustworthy company, and he is full of confidence in future cooperation.

Since 2017, ZPEC Group has carried out good cooperation with them in 8 drilling projects in Majnoon and Rumaila Oilfields in Iraq.
